Trevor graduated with a Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) Degree, With First-Class Standing, Co-op Option, from Brock University. He is both a Chartered Professional Accountant and a Chartered Accountant who has worked in public accounting since 2004 in a wide variety of industries. As a Licensed Public Accountant, Trevor is qualified to complete assurance engagements for businesses needing reviews and audits.
In 2011, he started investing in real estate with joint venture partners and started his own part-time public accounting practice. Trevor became the CFO of a Toronto based charity in 2012. This role involved working in almost every province in Canada, and other destinations around the world. In 2015, Trevor transitioned into leading his own firm full time. He is passionate about creating wealth for you and your business. He advises clients on internal control analysis and assessment, industry trends and comparisons, and various others best practices to better manage and grow their businesses.
Over the years, Trevor has worked with clients in industries including automotive sales, manufacturing and processing, unions, investments, medical, distribution, construction, not-for-profit, charities, recreational services, food and beverage, sports and entertainment, advertising, insurance, financial services, real estate, pharmaceutical sales, grocery sales, and many more.
Trevor is also a passionate real estate investor. This endeavour has taught him different ways of investing in real estate, along with the accounting, tax, and business strategies to make portfolios successful. He shares this knowledge with clients and other investors as they embark on their own real estate investment journey. In the community, he served on the board of Volunteer Hamilton and is a long standing member of the Board of Directors of Empowerment Squared.
Trevor completed the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada In-Depth Tax program in 2020 to provide a more well rounded service to clients.
